Application procedure

Choose the purpose of your trip to Italy. This determines the visa type and required documents.

Please always choose the correct purpose of travel. If it is incorrect, your application will not be accepted.

Create your account by entering your e-mail address and password.This allows you to manage your application and appointment.

Complete the online form with your personal information.These details are required to process your visa application.

Select an available date and time on the online booking platform.

For tourist visa applications:

Appointments are assigned automatically. You will be notified as soon as an appointment becomes available.

Once you submit your application at the centre, it will be sent to the Italian Embassy on the next business day.

Depending on your visa type:

• Complete and print the visa application form

• Prepare all required supporting documents

You must sign the application form personally.

On the day of your appointment:

• Register at reception.
• Proceed to the waiting area.
• Submit your documents at the counter.

A TLScontact agent will check your documents for availability and compliance.You will receive a checklist indicating any missing documents, if applicable.

If your application is complete, it will be sent to the Italian Embassy for processing.

Important information

• From 1 September 2026, you can submit your visa application up to 180 days before your planned departure date. We recommend applying at least 15 days before you travel.

• You must submit your application in person at the Visa Application Centre.

• Please arrive on time with all required documents.

• All applicants aged 12 or over must attend their appointment in person for biometric data capture and application submission.

Applications for minors

• Minors must be accompanied by both parents or by a legally authorised person if the parents are not in the country.

• The application form for a minor must be signed by both parents at the Visa Application Centre, in front of a TLScontact agent, even if a third person accompanies the child.

• The parental consent must:

• Be less than one month old

• Be translated into English or Italian

• Be notarised

If one parent is abroad, they must either:

• Provide consent at the Embassy of Armenia in that country, or

• Provide notarised consent with an apostille

The consent document must be submitted with the minor’s application. Otherwise, the application cannot be accepted.

Once the Embassy of Italy in Armenia has made a decision, you will receive an e-mail notification.

To collect your passport, visit the TLScontact Visa Application Centre and present:

• Your checklist

• A copy of your ID card or passport

If you authorise someone else to collect your passport, they must present:

• A signed authorisation letter

• Your checklist

• A copy of your ID and their ID

If you selected the delivery service, your passport will be sent to the address provided during submission.
